Sara’s Wedding

Sara was married Friday, April 3.  It was a long day.  I’m sure it was even longer for them.  We started with the sealing in the temple.  It was really cool to listen to the ceremony again.  The sealer always has lots of good advice, even for people that have been married for a while.  The neatest thing to me that he taught was that when we sacrifice for someone, our love for them grows.  It’s so much easier not to sacrifice and to be selfish sometimes.  Really making an effort to sacrifice for those that you love can be really rewarding.

Accepted to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh!

Lately, I’ve really gotten into graphic design.  I bought the Adobe CS4 Design Premium a few months ago.  It comes with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, etc.  and I’ve been having a blast with it.  I’ve always liked art, but I’ve never really pursued it much… until now!!!

We really weren’t planning on going anywhere, but Mandi and I talked about it and decided, “why not apply and just see?”  We both really like the east coast.  Mandi has always liked Washington D.C. and we had a blast when we went to Boston and Maine, so we’re really excited.  We’ll still be a little ways from either of those places and from the ocean, but it’s still pretty close!

I guess I’m going to have to find a job out there.  We still haven’t even told anyone!  Pretty crazy, huh?!?!
